Sumario: | Electrocardiogram is fundamental to diagnose ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction in patients with chest pain, other consistent symptoms, and/or echocardiographic abnormalities. Nevertheless, physicians should remember that other conditions can cause an ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction–like electrocardiogram.
