Here, we describe a detailed protocol for delivering an interfering peptide into the adult mouse hippocampus. The delivered peptide disrupts the interaction between polyglutamine binding protein 1 and eukaryotic elongation factor 2, resulting in impaired hippocampal mGluR-LTD and mGluR-LTD-associated behaviors.
