description Coronavirus disease 2019 affected millions of people and caused pneumonia, acute respiratory distress syndrome and increased mortality worldwide. Data from multicenter studies showed that concomitant chronic diseases are associated with severe coronavirus disease. Patients with left ventricular assist device (LVAD) support may also be vulnerable to the disease. Some symptoms of COVID-19 infection like dyspnea and fatigue can overlap with heart failure or LVAD dysfunction. Careful evaluation should be made to diagnose and treat these patients. In these two cases with COVID-19, here we presented the first two patients supported with LVAD in Turkey.
