Sumario:This study reports the case of a 45-year-old female patient presenting with isolated pain in the right hypochondrium radiating to the back, evolving over the last several years. The patient had no medical history. Physical examination was normal. Computed tomography (CT) scan showed right-sided diaphragmatic hernia (Bochdalek hernia) with a part of the liver protrunding into the chest. The patient underwent robotic surgery. The postoperative course was simple. The patient had no recurrence at 1-year follow-up. Bochdalek hernia with intrathoracic liver herniation is rare in adult patients. It can be treated by robotic surgery.
