The title compound, C(14)H(6)F(4)O(2), crystallizes with half of a mol­ecule per asymmetric unit and exhibits bond lengths and angles typical of α-diketones. A network of C—H⋯F contacts and π–π stacking inter­actions is observed within the structure.
