description Primary biliary cholangitis (PBC) is a chronic, autoimmune cholestatic disease, characterized by inflammation of the small and medium-sized bile ducts, which can lead to cirrhosis. Two to nineteen percent of patients with PBC have been reported to have features that overlap with autoimmune hepatitis (AIH). We report a case of a 39-year-old man with changes in liver biochemistry, with 6 years of asymptomatic evolution, whose diagnostic investigation determined the diagnosis of PBC, however with some features of AIH.
