Sumario:The heart is affected by cardiotoxicity of anticancer drugs. Myocardium, pericardium and endocardium can be affected. Besides these coronary arteries can be affected by accelerated atherosclerosis. Various pathogenic mechanisms have been proposed that underlie the ischemic complications of anticancer drugs. In this review we discuss the atherosclerotic and ischemic complications of anticancer drugs.
