Sumario: | We present a rare case of ulcerative oral lichen planus that was associated with a thymoma discovered during the management phase, seven months after the initial diagnosis of oral lichen planus. Thymectomy was performed and investigations revealed pure red cell aplasia. Although rare, the association of a thymoma should be considered in recording the medical history of patients presenting with oral lichen planus. |
