Sumario: | Internet hospitals, as a new forum for doctors to conduct diagnosis and treatment activities based on the internet, are emerging in China and have become integral to the development of the medical field in conjunction with increasing reforms and policies in China’s medical and health system. Here, we take the Internet Hospital of the First Affiliated Hospital, Zhejiang University (FAHZU Internet Hospital) as an example to discuss the operations and functional positioning of developing internet hospital medical services in relation to physical hospitals. This viewpoint considers the platform operation, management, and network security of FAHZU Internet Hospital, and summarizes the advantages and limitations in the operation to provide a reference for other areas with interest in developing internet hospitals. |
