Sumario:BACKGROUND: In order to maintain the ÖAMM manual medicine courses during the 2020/2021 lockdown, appropriate steps had to be taken. participants had to document any symptoms before and during the courses (in the event of symptoms, the participant would be excluded from the course); a negative antigen test; formation of fixed training-partner pairs during the course and their separation in the course room by Plexiglas walls; mandatory wearing of FFP2/3 masks; social distancing during breaks. METHOD: The participants retrospectively assessed whether symptoms occurred within the first 2 weeks after the end of the course using an active and passive reporting system. RESULTS: None of our course participants became infected with SARS-CoV 2 during the courses. CONCLUSION: Development and implementation of a corresponding security concept, which must meet the legal standards, enables courses to be run even in times of lockdown.
