Sumario:The title Co(III) complex, bis­[bis­(2-hy­droxy-3-meth­oxy­benzaldehyde thio­semi­carbazonato)cobalt(III)] di­thio­nate–dimethylformamide–methanol (1/4/3), [Co(C(9)H(10)N(3)O(2)S)(2)](2)(S(2)O(6))·4C(3)H(7)NO·3CH(3)OH, with monodeprotonated 2-hy­droxy-3-meth­oxy­benzaldehyde thio­semicarbazone as ligands crystallizes in the space group P [Image: see text] . The asymmetric unit consists of two mononuclear [CoL (2)](+) cations, one di­thio­nate anion (S(2)O(6))(2−) as counter-anion and seven solvate mol­ecules (four di­methyl­methanamide and three methanol). Each Co(III) ion has a moderately distorted octa­hedral S(2)N(2)O(2) geometry. In the crystal, the components are linked by numerous N—H⋯O and O—H⋯O contacts.
