Peculiar Case of Diaphragmatic Hernia: in Which Nearly the Whole of the Left Side of the Diaphragm Was Wanting, so That the Stomach and a Great Part of the Intestines Lay in the Left Pleural Cavity; Compressing the Left Lung, and Forcing the Heart to the Right Side of the Sternum. This Condition, Evidently Congenital, Existed in a Man Who Died at the Massachusetts General Hospital, with Fracture of the Spine, Caused by a Heavy Blow upon It.
