Sumario:In this study, the analytical hierarchy process (AHP) technique has been used to assess waste management practices of different hospitals in the city of Prayagraj (India). Based on AHP analysis, hospital 3 was ranked as the most promising sustainability hospital with a weight value of 0.2788 with strict abidance to Bio-medical waste management (amendment), 2018 rules and regulations. Regular monitoring is needed to improve the waste management in hospitals substantially, and hospital 6 is ranked lowest among the surveyed hospitals.
