description Increasing global warming due to NO [Formula: see text] , CO [Formula: see text] , and CH [Formula: see text] , is significantly harming ecosystems and life worldwide. One promising methodology is converting pollutants into valuable chemicals via photocatalytic processes (by reusable photocatalysts). In this context, the present work aimed to produce a Nb [Formula: see text] O [Formula: see text] photocatalyst nanofiber system by electrospinning to convert CO [Formula: see text]. Based on the collected data, the calcination at 600 [Formula: see text] C for 2 h resulted in the best condition to obtain nanofibers with homogeneous surfaces and an average diameter of 84 nm. As a result, the Nb [Formula: see text] O [Formula: see text] nanofibers converted CO [Formula: see text] mostly into CO and CH [Formula: see text] , reaching values around 8.5 [Formula: see text] mol g [Formula: see text] and 0.55 [Formula: see text] mol g [Formula: see text] , respectively.
