Sumario:Science instruction has largely avoided engaging students in political issues. Recent scholarship is drawing attention to the ways in which students’ political identities influence science learning and the need for science learning that engages with students’ political beliefs and values. In this Current Insights, I explore emerging work that provides a launching point for research and teaching at the intersection of political and science learning.
