Sumario: | SUMMARY: We report a new observation of spermatocytic tumor in a patient, 54 years-old without previous history and especially testicular ectopy. He consulted for a left testicular lesions, noted 6 months ago. Biologic exams were within normal limits, without for tumor markers i.e alpha-foetoprotein (aFP) and beta gonadotrophine chorionique hormone (ßHCG). A left inguinal orchidectomy was performed and specimen resection was sized 17x 13x 10cm with a weight at 946 g. Microscopic study showed a well-defined proliferation containing 3 types of tumor cells (Figure 1 and 2). Immunohistochemical study showed a low positivity for PLAP, focal positive CD117 and negative l'OCT4, eliminating diagnosis of seminoma and concluding to spermatocytic tumor.
