Sumario:Perioperative high dose rate brachytherapy is a radiotherapy treatment technique which involves intraoperative insertions of brachytherapy catheters into the tumor bed during the surgical resection followed by treatment in the post-operative period. We report here two cases to highlight its use in the primary treatment and reirradiation of head and neck cancers.
