Usually, after this timeframe, the tract closes; hence, it is recommended to perform a replacement at a different site. We report a case of a 52-year-old female who presented after 24 hours of inadvertent PEG tube removal. A replacement was performed successfully via endoscopy at the same site of the erstwhile PEG tube, although it appeared to be closed.
