Sumario:Lipids play important roles in various human diseases. Disease-associated lipid dysregulation and biomarkers could provide molecular clues for diagnosis, pathogenesis, and therapy. This protocol provides a step-by-step workflow to investigate lipid dysregulation and discover biomarkers in human serum samples by liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS)-based lipidomics and machine learning analysis. The workflow includes project design, serum collection, sample preparation, data acquisition, data processing, and machine learning analysis.
