description A critical review of Tosepu et al. (2020a) “Correlation between weather and Covid-19 pandemic in Jakarta, Indonesia” identifies five questions about the data, analysis, and interpretation of their results. These questions are the number of days and dates of data that go into the analysis, interpretation of the “rapid increase” in COVID-19, 0 °C values of temperature suspected to be missing data, no time lag between the weather on the day of infection and the date the case was recorded in the database, and the significance of their results. The scientific community would benefit from reading answers to the five questions from Tosepu et al.
