description When Covid-19 appeared in the USA at the beginning of 2020, there was no treatment or vaccine. The only way to deal with the virus was containment, which resulted in business and agency closures. The impact on the economy was enormous, particularly on the lives of minorities and financially vulnerable people. The present study investigated the impact of COVID-19 on the lives of vulnerable people through qualitative interviews of major social service and healthcare agencies. The results show how the pandemic furthered existing disparities in access to a variety of services and supports.
