Sumario:Foot drop is a debilitating condition, which causes physical disability and psychological challenges associated with difficulties walking. We report the indications, novel technique, and successful outcomes of two children (three limbs) who underwent free functional gracilis muscle transfers coaptated to the common peroneal nerve to reanimate active foot dorsiflexion and correct foot drop secondary to loss of the anterior compartment.
