Cases including excision of the hepatic artery with or without reconstruction during pancreaticoduodenectomy have been reported for periampullary cancer. Here we present a case of an 82-year-old patient who underwent laparoscopic pancreaticoduodenectomy following preoperative arterial embolization of an aberrant right hepatic artery arising from the superior mesenteric artery.
