The channel structure of trithallium pentaantimonate(V), Tl(3)Sb(5)O(14)

It is isotypic to the K(3)Sb(5)O(14), Rb(3)Sb(5)O(14) and Cs(3)Sb(5)O(14) analogues with orthorhombic Pbam symmetry and cell parameters a = 24.2899 (9) Å, b = 7.1931 (3) Å, c = 7.4182 (3) Å. The Sb atoms form irregular [SbO(6)] octahedra, which are linked via edges and corners into a triperiodic network. The Tl(+) ions are located in distinct channels of the network extending along [010] and [001]. |
