The Two Classes of Ceramide Synthases Play Different Roles in Plant Immunity and Cell Death

Ceramide synthases (CSs) produce ceramides from long-chain bases (LCBs). However, how CSs regulate immunity and cell death in Arabidopsis thaliana remains unclear.
