Metabacillus dongyingensis sp. nov. Is Represented by the Plant Growth-Promoting Bacterium BY2G20 Isolated from Saline-Alkaline Soil and Enhances the Growth of Zea mays L. under Salt Stress

A novel plant growth-promoting rhizobacterium (PGPR), which was designated strain BY2G20, was isolated from saline-alkaline soil in Dongying, China. Strain BY2G20 can grow at a NaCl range from 0 to 7% and a pH range from 7 to 9 and can prevent the growth of the phytopathogen Ralstonia solanacearum....
