Synergic effect of doxorubicin release and two-photon irradiation of Mn(2+)-doped Prussian blue nanoparticles on cancer therapy
We demonstrate here that Mn(2+)-doped Prussian blue nanoparticles of ca. 55 nm loaded with doxorubicin may be used as efficient therapeutic agents for combined photothermal and chemo-therapy of cancer cells with a synergic effect under two photon irradiation.
