Co-crystallization of antibacterials with inorganic salts: paving the way to activity enhancement

Co-crystallization of the antibacterial agents proflavine and methyl viologen with the inorganic salts CuCl, CuCl(2) and AgNO(3) results in enhanced antimicrobial activity with respect to the separate components.
