Biomimetic composite scaffold from an in situ hydroxyapatite coating on cellulose nanocrystals
A novel nanocomposite scaffold was developed by homogeneous deposition of hydroxyapatite (HAP) on a cellulose nanocrystals (CNCs) matrix suspended in a simulated body fluid (SBF).
