Sumario:Bariatric surgery is the most effective treatment for obesity and improves several manifestations of the metabolic syndrome, including nonalcoholic fatty liver disease. Here, we describe 3 cases of acute liver injury and acute liver failure caused by bariatric surgery, all with different management strategies and outcomes.
