description Benign paroxysmal position vertigo (BPPV) is a debilitating condition. BPPV is a peripheral vestibular disorder, and people with this condition experience varying levels of dizziness. BPPV, in most patients, is often overlooked as vertigo and dizziness may be triggered by an underlying chronic disease and disorder. Patients may be misdiagnosed or have delayed diagnosis, resulting in unnecessary health procedures. In this study, we present two cases of BPPV in a 29-year-old female and a 32-year-old male, who presented initially with fracture of the angle of left mandibles, which were treated surgically. Both patients developed BPPV secondary to head trauma leading to mandibular fracture. It is important to diagnose and treat BPPV early to prevent long-term disability.
