description INTRODUCTION: Early intervention program[EIP] aims at early detection and management of children with disabilities like birth defects, developmental delays, deficiencies, neurodevelopmental disorders etc. These causes contribute to significant childhood morbidity and mortality. Though the core cause may not be reversible, the overall quality of life of these children can be improved through early intervention and rehabilitation.
