Impact Of Covid Pandemic On Behavioural Issues Among School Children.

Covid pandemic created a global challenge to all the sectors. In order to prevent the infection, government implemented lockdown, which extensively restricted the public life. Quarantine, Lockdown and lack of proper treatment guidelines created many psychological and behavioral issues among the people especially children. Many children complained of depression, panic disorder and PTSD like symptoms and school drop outs were also increased in the current pandemic. Unexplained somatic complaints, poor social communication, Irregular sleep patterns and nocturnal enuresis are the alarming signals for psychological and behavioural issues among the children. Earlier literature mainly dealt with psychological issues due to pandemic among adults but limited research and literature is available regarding the impact of pandemic on behavioral issues among school children on which the current symposium focuses
