Sumario:Acute pancreatitis (AP) is a common gastrointestinal cause of hospital admissions and is prevalent in the United States. AP etiologies include alcohol use, cholelithiasis, hypertriglyceridemia, hypercalcemia, autoimmune phenomena, medications, or idiopathic. Rarely, intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasms can cause AP, as we present in this case report.
