Sumario:Bone metastases may evolve with events (pain, fractures and compression) that the orthopedic surgeon will encounter regardless of his subspecialty. Accumulated surgical knowledge is predictive for the prevention of impending fractures, as well as of pathological fractures. We will present a guide to properly evaluate and conduct a patient with bone implant for surgeons who are not specialists in this area.
