Sumario: | In the face of the ongoing digital transformation within the school context, new challenges arise for the professional competence of teachers. This leads to an increased need for action within continuing teacher training which is closely connected to the discipline of adult and further education. Examining the context of further teacher training through this disciplinary lense allows for cross-field impulses for its implementation and design. In this article we depict present challenges for continuing teacher education on the basis of the multi-level governance of adult and further education. These challenges will be discussed in view of findings and concepts of adult and further education. |
