Sumario:Endodontists have a major problem when dealing with perforating internal resorption, which is an uncommon condition in permanent teeth. Success in treating a resorbed root can only be achieved if the root is properly diagnosed, removed, and treated. Cone-beam computed tomography was used to locate the resorptive lesion and assess its severity (CBCT). A maxillary canine with significant root perforation owing to internal resorption was successfully surgically treated in this case report.
