Sumario:Among 134 223 patients with coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), we assessed how risk of hospitalization changed at different intervals in the pandemic, controlling for prior COVID-19 immunity. In multivariable analysis, outpatients with COVID-19 during the Omicron-predominant time period had significantly lower odds of hospitalization compared to pre-Delta (adjusted odds ratio, 0.26 [95% confidence interval, .22–.32]).
