Opioid prescribing in general practice: an Australian cross-sectional survey

BACKGROUND: Prescribed opioid doses > 100 mg oral morphine equivalent (OME) and/or co-prescribing of sedating psychoactive medications increase the risk of unintentional fatal overdose.
