Sumario: | The working alliance between coach and coachee is one of the key factors in coaching and can explain why some coaching processes are more successful than others. This paper provides an overview of the current state of research on the working alliance in coaching. It highlights the importance of the working alliance to various outcomes for coachees as well as factors that may or may not promote the working alliance. It also takes a closer look at the role of the working alliance in the digital coaching setting. This paper identifies open questions for coaching research and provides recommendations for coaching practice. |
