Sumario:Neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD) is a rare autoimmune disorder, and its association with other autoinflammatory diseases has been reported in this study. In this article, we are discussing two patients with neuromyelitis optica who show evidence of autoimmune rheumatic diseases. The first case presented with acute myelitis and was diagnosed with NMOSD; she developed clinical features of Behçet’s disease during follow-up, making it the second reported case worldwide. The second case presented with neuromyelitis optica and was found to have strongly positive Sjogren’s serology.
