Sumario:We present a comprehensive data set that describes an anaerobic microbial consortium native to polychlorinated biphenyl (PCB)-contaminated sediments. Obtained from sediment microcosms incubated for 200 days, the data set includes 4 metagenomes, 4 metatranscriptomes (in duplicate), and 62 metagenome-assembled genomes and captures microbial community interactions, structure, and function relevant to anaerobic PCB biodegradation.
