Sumario:Acute compartment syndrome (ACS) is often a result of a traumatic event or fractures. Nevertheless, other non-traumatic etiologies may rarely cause ACS. We present a case of a male patient who presented with unilateral below-the-knee pain without trauma or any external factor and was treated conservatively. A diagnosis of idiopathic compartment syndrome was made by MRI.
