Sumario:In this work, we formulated an SEQIRS mathematical model with four control variables, which describes the spread of the coro-navirus in a community. An optimal control problem was well introduced in order to verify the existence of optimal controls that minimize susceptible, exposed, and infected individuals. Also, we use Pontryagin's Maximum Principle to characterize the optimal control strategies to minimize the spread dynamics of the COVID’19.
