description This article the influence of technology on incarcerated students’ motivation and engagement in classroom-based learning. The juvenile jails and prisons confine many students who depend on education for future prosperity. In the twenty-first century, technology has dominated the education sector, and has been improving education delivery both to the incarcerated students and released students. Concerning the Covid-19 pandemic that resulted in the closure of learning setups, this work explicitly considers the jails and prisons contexts. The goal is to determine the effects of technology, after which the technical field can work towards improving the experience of the incarcerated students in the classrooms. Incarcerated students need modern skills that would enable them to survive in the technology-demanding society. This paper gives a brief review of previous research work, and my present work to determine the direction of classroom-based learning for incarcerated students.
