Sumario:Knowledge of basic radiology is an essential component of the undergraduate medical curriculum. Pre-clinical education introduces medical students to essential knowledge and skills. However, the current curriculum and radiology teaching are not without inherent limitations. This article explores the essential role of radiology education for medical students and discusses the current state of affairs. It also highlights the limitations and associated challenges and proposes solutions.
