Sumario: | The corona pandemic has not only caused a technical-media boost towards personnel management at a distance but has also called into question essential “dogmas” of hierarchy-related power regulation and relationship design in logistics companies. Through the triggered pressure to change, existing basic convictions and practices of personnel management have been challenged. However, this dynamic process has hardly affected the necessity of self-reflexivity and the psychosocial willingness of executives to seek advice and encounters robust resistance. The skills required in the complexity of the VUCA environment are insufficient. Personnel management in logistics is therefore at an intermediate stage that makes risks recognizable. Pfohl’s vote that personnel management may be the decisive competitive advantage if technological innovations have converged has not yet been sufficiently implemented according to the results of a qualitative study. |
