Sumario:In the title compound, [NiFe(2)(C(5)H(5))(C(9)H(5)F(3)O(2))(2)(C(2)H(6)O)(2)], the central Ni(II) ion is observed in an octa­hedral coordination environment. The chelating β-diketonate ligands are substituted by ferrocene, a lipophilic organometallic moiety. The ferrocene groups have the normal geometry, with eclipsed cyclo­penta­diene rings. Coordinated ethanol mol­ecules are engaged in inter­molecular hydrogen bonds, and the crystal is further stabilized by weak C—H⋯F and C—H⋯π contacts. [Image: see text]
