Sumario:Developmental language disorder is a diagnostic challenge in early stages of development, so its adequate approach and intervention improves the prognosis of this group of patients who are often diagnosed late, especially recently in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. This article seeks to provide tools that promote understanding its importance, as well as allowing parents to be given strategies that promote language and communication skills in the early stages of their children's development.
