Sumario:Angiolipomas of the hand and wrist are rare presentations with only a few case reports in the literature. These subtypes of lipomas can be infiltrating or noninfiltrating, often affecting treatment outcomes and strategies. Angiolipomas can present as tender masses and, on average, will appear much larger than simple lipomas. We present a case involving a patient with a large palmar noninfiltrating angiolipoma as a cause of carpal tunnel syndrome. The patient was treated with surgical excision, leading to the resolution of his carpal tunnel symptoms.
